1. Connecting Your Google Business Profile
Connecting Google is foundational to your success with LinClips. We highly recommend using the direct login method to unlock our full suite of automation capabilities.
- Navigate to the Integrations tab in your LinClips dashboard.
- Click Connect next to the Google integration option.
- Log in using the exact Google account that has administrative access to your Google Business Profile.
- When prompted, grant all requested permissions to allow LinClips to read and reply to reviews on your behalf.
- Select your specific business profile from the dropdown list and confirm the connection.
Note: As soon as the connection is confirmed, LinClips will immediately begin importing your existing Google reviews and actively monitor your profile for new feedback.
2. Linking Additional Review Sites (Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc.)
To get a complete picture of your reputation, you should connect all platforms where your customers leave reviews.
- For Yelp: You can connect your profile by simply pasting your public Yelp business URL into the setup field. Always verify link accuracy before saving to prevent any onboarding errors or delays in review tracking.
- For TripAdvisor and others: Follow the platform-specific steps provided on the screen. Depending on the site, this may involve providing a direct link or logging into the platform to authorize access.
3. Integrating Social Media for Automated Sharing
Turning your positive reviews into marketing material is easy when you connect your social media profiles.
- Locate the Facebook and Instagram options on the Integrations page.
- Click Connect and log in to the respective accounts.
- Approve the necessary Meta permissions.
Once properly linked, you can configure LinClips to automatically share your best 4- and 5-star reviews directly to your social media feeds. This is a highly effective way to showcase social proof to your followers.
4. Configuring Your Communication Channels
LinClips allows you to send review requests through multiple channels to maximize your response rate.
- Email and SMS: These default communication channels are ready to use instantly. You do not need to perform any additional setup to start sending out text and email campaigns.
- WhatsApp: To send review requests via WhatsApp, you must connect it through Facebook. This requires logging in and completing the Meta Business approval process. Follow the on-screen prompts carefully to ensure Meta verifies your business for WhatsApp messaging.
5. Final Verification and Launch
Before you launch your first automated review campaign, it is crucial to verify that everything is configured correctly.
- Review the main Integrations dashboard.
- Check the status indicator next to each platform to ensure they all say Connected or Active.
- If any integration appears disconnected or shows an error, click the platform to re-establish the link and verify your login credentials.
