Updating Your Website Content
LinClips utilizes a “single source of truth” approach to prevent inconsistent or outdated details across the web. Because of this, you cannot directly edit text or images from the LinClips Website section.To update your website’s content, you must make the modifications directly on your Google Business Profile. Once updated there, LinClips will automatically pull the fresh data to your website.
Connect a Custom Domain
LinClips provides a default domain so your website is ready to use immediately. However, if you are serious about your online presence, setting up a custom domain is a must. A personal domain dramatically improves your brand’s credibility, memorability, and customer trust.Setting up your custom domain:
- Access your domain registrar’s DNS settings.
- Add a `CNAME` record pointing to the address provided in your LinClips dashboard.
- Allow up to 48 hours for the DNS propagation to complete and for your custom domain to go live.
